(“GDI” or the “Company”) (TSX: GDI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stéphane Lavigne, CPA, as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer effective Monday September 19th, 2016. Mr. Lavigne was most recently with IPL Inc., where he occupied the positions Executive Vice-President & CFO from July 2014 to July 2015 and President & CEO following the sale of the company from August 2015 to October 2015. Prior to IPL, Mr. Lavigne held the position of Senior Vice-President, Corporate Business Development & M&A from January 2014 to June 2014 and Vice-President, Strategic Initiatives, Finance & IT from June 2012 to December 2013 with Superior Energy Group, a subsidiary of Superior Plus Corp. (TSX:SPB). Mr. Lavigne joined Supremex Inc. (TSX:SXP) in 1991 and occupied various positions including Vice-President & CFO from January 2006 to May 2012. Mr. Lavigne started his career with KPMG in 1988 and holds a Bachelor degree from Université du Québec à Montréal.
