Mr. Girouard first joined GDI in 2018, as Director of Financial Information and Budget. He was than promoted to the position of Vice President of Digital Transformation – Finance and Operations at the beginning of 2023. In 2024, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Finance Operations and Digital Transformation, where he now spearheads initiatives that are critical to the company’s growth, including process optimization and digital transformation. He is also responsible for the management of the financial department for GDI Group of Companies, working in close collaboration with the CFO driving GDI’s strategic financial decisions. Before his tenure at GDI, Charles-Étienne honed his skills at PSP Investments, where he oversaw financial operations across multiple investments asset classes and contributed to key back-office investment processes. His earlier career at PricewaterhouseCoopers saw him specializing in assurance services, where he gained valuable experience across various industries. Mr. Girouard holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA).
