Mr. Stanford joined Ainsworth Inc. in November 2016, following Ainsworth’s acquisition of Direct Energy Business Services Limited and became President shortly thereafter. In June 2019, Mr. Stanford was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ainsworth Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Previously, Mr. Stanford held the position of President of Direct Energy Business Services Limited from 2013 to 2016. Prior to his role at Direct Energy Business Services Limited, Mr. Stanford held various management positions with several companies involved in the maintenance and repair of building systems. He was regional Director of Honeywell from 1990 to 1995; Senior Manager of Stannair, Enbridge and Direct Energy Business Services Limited from 1995 to 2006. Subsequently, he was general manager of HA Mechanical from 2006 to 2009 and President of Modern Niagara HVAC Services from 2009 to 2013 before joining Direct Energy Business Services Limited in 2013 as President. Mr. Stanford attended the College of Trade St. John’s in the Electrical Technology program.
