Implementation and Support Specialist
The Implementation and Support Specialist (ISS) will work in the Special Projects department to assist with administrative support, planning and implementation of large scale projects including Time and Attendance Tracking, Quality Assurance Tracking, Payroll initiatives and other projects as needed.
The ISS will also be the primary individual responsible for the management of all incoming requests. This person will also oversee the optimization, maintenance, implementation and change management of the various projects simultaneously.
The ISS will also utilize our Remote Training tools to provide training as needed to various branch offices within North America.. Full training will be provided. This position is located in GDI’s Head office in Etobicoke ON.
GDI is a commercial facility services provider offering a range of services in Canada and the United States to owners and managers of a variety of facility types including office buildings, hotels, shopping centres, industrial facilities, healthcare establishments, distribution facilities, airports and other transportation facilities. GDI’s commercial facility services capabilities include commercial janitorial, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC-R, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as other complementary services such as damage restoration and janitorial products manufacturing and distribution
-Assist with planning and organization Software upgrades and automation procedures
–Escalation of issues affecting service
– Accurately interpret and effectively comply with company standards, procedures, and policies
– Gather requirements and analysis for various projects as directed.
– Primary point-of-contact for customers
– Triage product queues daily
-Identifying and investigating all communications technical and billing anomalies
– Investigate and resolve customer issues
-Identifying areas where GDI can minimize risk and streamline operations
-Managing all requests for additions and changes
– Test system scenarios and duplicate issues to resolve customer inquiries
– Participate in project and team meetings; interact and collaborate with team members as required
-Other duties and projects as required
Post-secondary education or related business experience

Proficient with Microsoft Windows & Office, especially Excel
Excellent organizational skills and Detail oriented
Effective communication: verbal and written skills
Experience working with clients or in a team-based environment and working under pressure/time constraints.
Ability to learn multiple software programs and databases
Ability to work well independently or with others
Motivated and self-disciplined
Able to legally work in Canada
Experience in software support and Payroll software is an asset
Access to a motor vehicle with a Valid G Class license

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
