You gladly understand and accept your accountability to the company’s shareholders and the public while acting as the company’s “face to the public” for the region.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the division’s strategic goals and plans are aligned with other divisions and the overall
GDI business strategy.
• Continue to move the division forward with steady, sustained, and dependable growth.
• Ensure the region’s financial and operational objectives are met or exceeded.
• Build a strong team succession plan by assisting team members in their career growth,
establishing an effective succession planning process, provide leadership, guidance and
motivation to managers and other staff as required.
• Ability to build and maintain high level relationships in the real estate sector.
• Client management and establish/maintain effective customer relations.
• Responsible for the accuracy and predictability of each unit’s financial performance through the
utilization of the forecasting process and responsible for communication of deviations and action
plans to regional and divisional leadership teams.
• Work with SVP of Sales to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant
local revenue that is aligned with GDI’s strategy to grow the region.
• Work with the interim President, COO and SVP Sales to drive a sales culture and implement new
sales metrics, systems, and management.
• Promote GDI’s entrepreneurial and employee-owned company culture, strategic direction, and
collaboration across North America and within the customer service teams.
• Be a leader in driving a positive working environment and positive morale.
• Build effective partnerships with regional leadership and their employees.

Experience &/or Education Requirements

• Post secondary degree required.
• Minimum 15 years of management experience, including 5+ years participating on a senior
leadership team, managing a P&L within a large multi-location retail or services business.
• Strong senior leadership relationships in the real estate sector would be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering annual sales targets, including successfully winning large
and strategic projects.
• Financial analysis and project management skills.
• Leadership, team building and employee management skills.
• Excellent client relation and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving skills
